Do Anti-Aging Creams Actually Work?

By Tara West

Every year Northern Americans spend millions of dollars on anti-aging creams and treatments for wrinkles, crows feet and sagging skin; but the issue is: do these creams actually work or is our desire for fresher looking skin driving us to waste our hard earned money? If you are one of the thousands of US women who is looking to find an anti aging cream that can help you reduce or reverse the signs of aging, then you'll be glad to learn that according to the American Association Of Dermatology, anti-aging creams do work. The key to getting successful results using these creams is to understand what ingredients to look for.

In order to choose the right combination of ingredients for your skin, you will first need to identify your skin type and your skin problems. For example, a person with very dry and scaly skin will need to employ a different mix of ingredients then somebody who has oily skin and is susceptible to break outs. It's also important to identify whether or not your skin might be sensitive to certain products or if you've an allergy to any ingredients. If you happen to have an issue with skin sensitivity or allergies, you might need to avoid certain combinations of ingredients that may make your skin problems worse by adding inflammation or irritation.

As we age the commonest issues are dry skin, wrinkles, lines, and darkish circles under the eyes. All these skin care issues can be attributed to the aging process and happen naturally all though our life. There isn't any magical potion that can stop these skin problems from occurring but there are some anti-aging creams that can help you slow the progression of these inevitable signs of agging.

Using an anti-aging cream that contains alpha hydroxy acid or glycolic acid will benefit those people that are experiencing very dry or scaly skin. A cream that uses alpha hydroxy acid and Vitamin A works the best for those fine wrinkles and lines. Finally, if you're experiencing sun damage from years of exposure to ultraviolet light, you may want to try a cream that includes Vitamin C. These creams are especially helpful in repairing sun damaged skin and helping to prevent future damage.

The really important thing to remember when selecting an anti aging cream is that it's the ingredients that determine its efficacy and not its cost. Spending hundreds of dollars on anti-aging creams which claim to turn back the hands of time will be no better than buying a cheap cream from your local drug store. Take some time to read the label and concentrate on not just the ingredients but also the percentage of active ingredients.

Lose Weight On Your Face Very Quickly

By Ellie G Sanderson

Hi there. I'm guessing that if you are searching for information on how to lose face weight it's because you want to know if it's possible to target a chubby face and get rid of excess fat. Well it is possible with the correct methods, and in this article I will give you some information that will get you on your way to a sleeker face.

Not too long ago, I had a fat face. I wasn't really fat anywhere else on my body, but my face was fat, I did not like it at all. I was really self conscious about it. I wondered if there was anything I could do. I tried dieting and exercise but it didn't do much for my face.

I decided to have a look online for specific lose weight on your face techniques. I found some very helpful information that seemed to make sense. I quickly applied the techniques and after around 27 days I had completely slimmed down my face. My chubby cheeks were gone. My double chin was now just one chin. I was ecstatic!

The first good tip I can give you on how to lose weight on your face is to stop eating foods that are high in salt. These foods will cause your face to bloat. What happens is the salt causes your face to hold excess water, which in turn causes bloating.

After you have cut salty foods out of your diet, next you want to start drinking heaps of water. This will help you lose weight in your face. If you are not getting enough water in your body, it will naturally start trying to store more water, which will cause your face to bloat.

Now it's time to really step it up a notch to lose weight on your face. Start doing some face exercises.

First, to work your chin, you want to tilt your head back so you are looking at the ceiling. While you are in this position push your jaw out as far as you can. Hold this for about 30 seconds, then have a break, and do it again about 10 times.

Another helpful exercise to lose weight on your face is to stretch your head back, but this time twist your neck to the right, hold this position, then twist your neck to the left, and hold that position. Do this for each side around 5 times.

These methods and diet advice will give you a good base to lose weight on your face.
